Elite Nutrition is owned and operated by a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, Jared McGowen. Jared served four years in the Marine Corps with 2nd Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion based out of Camp Lejeune, NC. He completed two tours in Iraq, 2004-2005 and 2006-2007. After Jared returned to the United States he enrolled at Lindenwood University in Saint Charles, MO. While attending school Jared worked as a Certified Personal Training Director for the largest training company in St. Louis. After completing his Bachelors in marketing, Jared began working on his Master of Business Administration at Lindenwood. During graduate school he had to write a business plan for a final project; while Jared was working on it he made the decision to take the next step and open Elite Nutrition. After months of preparation, Elite Nutrition opened on November, 25 2011.
